Experimenting with Decks to Become a Formidable in Clash Royale

So you think you are an expert Clash Royale player? In the beginning, you struggled to get a win in Arena 1, getting your behind handed to you on daily bases.

Then you wizened and decided to copy other top players’ decks and started seeing success. This is a common story in the skill progression of Clash Royale players. Having the right deck of cards in Clash Royale is crucial to winning. Yes, the skills and management of the cards of your deck is important but without the right tools, you simply cannot compete.

What makes Clash Royale so compelling and fun is that there are almost limitless combinations of decks you can shuffle and experiment with. Getting bored with your flavor of the month decks after using Clash Royale hack?

For instance, I was able to dominate the Arena 7 with the following decks:

  • Spear Goblins
  • Arrows
  • Fireball
  • Giant
  • Musketeers
  • Prince
  • Barbarians
  • Minions

This deck had the right combination of ranged attacks, beefy tanks to, and units that can maneuver around the map to create flanks and counter attacks.
However, after playing with the deck for so long, I started to get bored. Sure, it’s easy to win with the solid deck of cards and by learning how to counter but winning all day every day can get a bit boring.

One thing that can be done to experiment with new decks and spruce up your gameplay is by substituting one card at a time. This will allow you to fully understand the impact of the card being replaced. It takes some time to get used to new decks because each deck offers vastly different playing style. For instance, I can easily swap out the Prince with a Hog Rider and not lose too much in terms of practical abilities. Another thing that I like to do is to replace the Fireball with Cannon. This allows you to keep the same playing style but allow you to better adapt to higher arenas with higher skilled players.
